Services for Mary Alice Turner will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at East Marlboro Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Turner, 74, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019 at the Pruitt Healthcare in Dillon.
Born in Whiteville, NC, November 28, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick Ward and Rethea Ward. She was a member of East Marlboro Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Coy Legrant Turner of Latta; children, Debbie T. Marsh (Charles Snyder), Coy Fredrick “Ricky” Turner (Robin), Timothy William Turner (Kimberly Rich), all of Latta; son-in-law, Daniel Allen Forbes of Walnut Cove, NC; grandchildren, Danielle Forbes, Josh Forbes, Kayla Seals (Marshall), Samuel Blake Marsh (Katie Henry), Timothy Kyle Turner (Haylee), and Rebecca Cheyenne Turner; great-grandchildren, Bryson Lyle Turner, Nathan Booth, Madison Booth, Steven Forbes, and Brody Cochran; sister, Malene Sloan of Wilmington, NC.
Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Beverly Ann Turner Forbes; sister, Margie Little, and her grandchildren, Amelia Dale Marsh and Samantha Alice Marsh.
