Services for Wilbur Berry will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2019 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Cooper Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Berry, 86, died Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at his residence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, March 15, 1933, he was the son of the late Amos Berry and Ila Mae Rowell Berry.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Myrtle Berry of the home; son, Wilbur David Berry of Brownsville; daughters, Sylvia Roberts of Brownsville, and Vickie Collins (Mark) of Florence; grandchildren, Timothy Berry, Erica McKeithan (Patrick), Christy Lovette, Joshua Roberts (Misty), Sherry Alford, Jimmy Alford, and Christopher Collins; great-grandchildren, Emma Berry, Lily McKeithan, Carson Berry, Chase, Landon, and Holden Roberts, Kaidon and Tera Roberts, Jace Roberts, Aubrey Alford, and Gimma Alford; sisters and brothers, Ila Mae, Margaret, Ailian, Evelyn, Pauline, Oscar, Carl, and Carlyle; sisters-in-law, Janice, Celestine, and Bobbie.
Mr. Berry was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Terry Roberts, and Tabitha Roberts; brothers, Ed and Sidney; sister, Gladys; brothers-in-law, Lloyd, and Herman; sisters-in-law, Diane, Judy Faye, Virginia, and Marylee; daughter-in-law, Kathy Berry; special brother-in-law, and buddy, Jerry Cooper.
