The Latta High School Baseball Team was awarded their state championship rings at a special ceremony last week.
The team finished the season with an overall record of 24 wins and 8 losses.
The Vikings swept their way through region play and were the Region &-AA champions.
The Vikings were on fire for the first four playoff games shutting out all four of their opponents.
They defeated Chesnee to win the state title. The winning pitcher in game one was McLeod Carmichael. The winning pitcher in game three was Hunter Sawyer.
