COLUMBIA, S.C. – Container Maintenance Corporation announced plans to open a new facility in Dillon County. Designed to support the newly-opened Inland Port Dillon, Container Maintenance of Dillon is bringing $11.5 million of capital investment and creating approximately 54 jobs.
“We are excited to be part of the Dillon community and are proud that we can continue to support the Port of Charleston through its inland port network,” said Container Maintenance Corporation General Manager of Marine Repair Services David M. Miller Jr.
Providing container and chassis maintenance for a variety of regional clients, Container Maintenance Corporation offers repair, upkeep and depot services, as well as storage and redistribution of intermodal equipment. The company’s new Dillon County facility complements its existing Charleston County facility, which supports the Port of Charleston.
The new operations are projected to come online in the third quarter of 2018. Hiring for the new positions is already underway.
