‘Libraries Rock’ Summer Reading Program Begins June 5

The Friends of the Dillon County Library System presents: “Libraries Rock!” Summer Reading Program, June 5-July 5, 2018 for ages 4-12.
Children can register at any local library.
Registration is from May 23- June 05, 2018.

The winner of the reading contest will win a grand prize.
Encouraging your children to read during the summer months is important. Reading daily helps maintain and improve reading skills.
Dates:
Latta–Tuesdays -10:00 a.m.
Dillon- Wednesdays-10:00 a.m.
Lake View- Thursdays-10:00 a.m.

2018 SUMMER
READING PROGRAM On Your Mark Get Set…..READ! Check out how “Libraries Rock” in your world. Whether you’re a fan of Classical, Jazz, Oldies, Country, or peace and quiet, this is an exciting year for athletes, performers, and great minds to participate in the STEM Program. You can reveal who your greatest mentor, or athlete is by taking part in reading program. Check out the Greatest Musicians in your world. Go online to:sc.evanced.info/dillon/sr/homepage.asp or stop by your local library to sign-up. Books bucks will be given when you have read (10) books that you can use to buy prizes.
• No child may check out more than ten (10) items per card.
• No child may check out more than ten (10) items per day.
• Book bucks will not be awarded if the items are returned on the same day.
• Books must be checked out to receive book bucks. Books read at the library are not credited towards the contest.
• Children who are too young to have a library card may use their parent’s card, but they still may only check out (10) items per day.
• The program is for ages 4 through 12.
• Books bucks will be awarded when books are returned.
