A Latta man was charged with making a bomb threat in Darlington.
The man, John Alan McDaniels, age 43, of Latta, was arrested on Monday and charged with making a bomb threat-first offense.
Officials say that the bomb threat was made on January 23rd at Estes Express Lines in Darlington, where McDaniels was employed at the time of the incident. He intended to intimidate the business associates.
The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office with the arrest.
