Donations were down, and the need was great, but the people of Dillon County came through in a big way to help the less fortunate families in our county making this year’s toy and food drive, sponsored by The Dillon Herald and East Dillon Baptist Church, bigger than ever. Christmas was brighter for many families thanks to your generosity.
Monetary donations were spent at Dillon County businesses throughout the Christmas season on toys and food. On Thursday, December 21, all toys and food collected were turned over to East Dillon Baptist Church where they were distributed.
