Recently members of The Glove and Trowel Garden Club decorated at the Dillon House for “Christmas at The Dillon House,” an annual event sponsored by The Dillon County Historical Society. Fresh magnolia leaves, cedar, pine, holly and pine cones were used in the dining room on the mantle and placed in vases on the side board and table. President Molly Pittman, Linda Dutton, Cindy McDuffie and Julie LeChette served on the decorating committee. The Glove and Trowel is a member of the National Garden Club, Inc., The South Atlantic Region of the National Council, The Garden Club of South Carolina, Inc. and The Coastal District of the GCSA.
