The Latta 10U World Series Champions were honored on Saturday morning. The team paraded down Main Street to cheering crowds from the Latta Library to the Latta Gazebo. There they were greeted to music including “We Are The Champions.” Latta Town Administrator Jarett Taylor spoke about how proud the town was of the team and presented each player with a rose. This was followed by a few words by the Coaches Michael Rogers, Jake Hyatt, and Tommy Sherman about the the tremendous support they received. After the ceremony, the team enjoyed lunch at the Latta Fire Department.
