Mary Dorothy Clark Smith

Mary Dorothy Clark Smith, 93, went to be with her Savior Monday, July 6, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services were held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Dillon First Baptist Church with burial in Riverside Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.  Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, SC, September 8, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Robert Juri Clark and Charlotte Delannie Kersey Clark.  She was a member of Dillon First Baptist Church, worked with Dixiana Mill for 32 years, Protex for 12 years, Wal-Mart for 12 years, and also worked as a receptionist at Cooper Funeral Home.  She was the widow of Theodore Smith.
Survivors include her daughters, Pansy S. (Jim) Stutler of Quinby, SC, Monte S. Mincey of Nichols, SC, and Georgia S. (LeRoy) Compton of Sumter, SC; grandchildren,  Elizabeth S. (Charles) Hunter, Hannah Rebecca (Becky) Stutler of Quinby, SC, Jeff (Shannon) Stutler of Latta, SC, Jason Stutler of Blythewood, SC, William Mincey IV,  Theodore Mincey, Freddy Mincey, Jennifer M. (Jamie) Hammond, all of Nichols, SC, and Matthew Compton of Seneca, SC; great-grandchildren, Corey Hunter, John-Micheal Stutler, Justin Stutler, Jena Stutler, Jamilyn Stutler, Jackson Stutler, William Mincey V of Conway, SC, Reagan Mincey of Loris, Grant Mincey of Nichols, Peyton Hammond, and Jana Hammond of Nichols, special nephews and their wives, Alex & Kay Lewis, Paul & Rosemary Lewis, and Robert & Vivian Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, James E. Stutler.
A special thanks to First Baptist Church for their love, prayers, cards, food, and visits.  To Hospice Care of South Carolina you made the past six months much easier on us, especially Heather, Courtney and the others who helped with mother.  We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
