Murphy Competing For Miss S.C. Crown This Week

Twenty-year-old Mikeya Murphy of Dillon will be competing in the Miss South Carolina pageant this week.
Murphy is currently holding the title of Miss Richland County 2015.
Murphy’s platform is “Liberating the Mind” which focuses on the significance of individuality. Murphy’s talent is singing. She will also have to compete in swimsuit, evening gown, and on-stage question.
Murphy will be at the pageant June 20-27th. June 23rd-25th are the preliminary nights, and they will be livestreamed on the internet. The pageant will air on FOX on June 27th at 8 p.m.
Murphy is a 2012 graduate of Dillon High School and is currently attending Florence-Darlington Technical College. She works at Doo Rights. She is the daughter of Cynthia Thomas and Kevin Thomas and Michael Murphy.
