Services for Charles Edward Owens will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Piney Grove Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Owens, 40, died Monday, March 2, 2015 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Dillon, SC, July 9, 1974, he was the son of Barbara Ann Herring Owens and the late James Earl Owens.
Survivors include his wife, Valerie Taylor Owens of Hamer; children, Charles Edward Owens, Jr., Taylor Nicole Owens, and Brent Jacob Owens; mother, Barbara Ann Owens of Dillon; brothers, Jamie Lee Owens, Carl Franklin Owens, and Glenn Owens, all of Dillon; special friend, Lynn Jones.
Mr. Owens was preceded in death by his father; and his brother, James Earl Owens, Jr.
