Services for Frederick Martin McIntyre will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Pyerian Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. McIntyre, 70, died Thursday, October 10, 2013 at his residence.
Born in Lumberton, NC, May 22, 1943, he was the son of the late Howard Reedy McIntyre and Edith Martin McIntyre. He was a member of Pyerian Baptist Church, and retired from DuPont after 30 + years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Joyce J. McIntyre of Dillon; daughter, Lynn (Calvin) Rowell of Dillon; son, Marty (Salley Huggins) McIntyre of Dillon; grandchildren, Alex Branham, Lynsey Branham, Davis Cook, Mattie McIntyre, Lacy McIntyre, and Jasper McIntyre; great-grandchild, Bree Hyatt; sister, Peggy McIntyre of Dillon; caregiver, Judy Hyatt.

The family would like to thank Shephard’s Care Hospice for the care given to Mr. McIntyre during his illness.
