District Four Develops New Mission Statement, Belief

Dillon School District Four has developed a new mission statement and a new belief.
The new mission statement and belief were developed due to the consolidation of Dillon Districts One and Two which became effective on July 1st.
The mission statement reads as follows:
“Capitalizing on our community support, Dillon School District Four will fulfill its responsibility to empower all children to become productive citizens of honorable character through challenging, safe, and effective learning environment.”
The belief reads as follows:
“We believe it is our responsibility to educate every child according to their individual learning style through a genuine, respectful relationship that ignites the desire of a lifelong learning process designed to ensure our students thrive in a global economy.”
The new mission statement and belief were presented to the Dillon District Four Board on October 17th.
