Libby’s Recipes: Orange Fruit Salad

This recipe comes from my sister and is so simple you don’t even have to boil water- my kind of recipe.

Orange Fruit Salad
1 large (6 oz.) box orange Jello (dry)
1 can mandarin oranges, drained
20 oz. can pineapple tidbits, drained
2 cups cottage cheese
8 or 12 oz. carton Cool Whip (thawed)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup flaked coconut
Mix all ingredients except nuts and coconut. Pour into 9×12 dish. Top with chopped nuts, then coconut. Chill at least 6 hours.
