Services for Mary E. Bullard will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Dillon Second Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday in Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bullard, 79, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the Carolina’s Hospital System in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, April 8, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John Brown Carter and Inez Weatherford Carter. She was a member of Dillon Second Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Senior Ladies Class, and was an active choir member where she delighted in participating until her health wouldn’t allow her to participate. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Harold C. Bullard of the home; daughters, Janice Bullard of Lamar, and Ellen Bullard of Dillon; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
