The Lady Wildcats defeated Fairmont 36-33 on Wednesday, January 5 in Dillon. The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but was postponed.
Fairmont outscored Dillon in the first and third quarters with scores of 9-5 and 5-3, but Dillon managed to outscore Fairmont 13-7 in the second quarter and 15-12 in the fourth to secure the win.
Chelsea Frazier led the Lady Cats to victory with a game-high 22 points. Briana Lee added eight points to the win, and Kedisha Davis added four. Mar’Riana Saunders also added two points for Dillon.
Fairmont as led by Anasia Evans with 12 points and Shakela Arnett with 11. Deanna Crans and Chyna Smith each added four points, and Shakela Faison added two.
Dillon’s record improves to 4-6 overall, and the Lady Cats were scheduled to travel to South Robeson on Thursday and then to Aynor on Tuesday, January 11.
