Gators Fall to Bears

The Lake View Wild Gators fell to the Carvers Bay Bears 46-55 on Tuesday.

The two teams were tied 10-10 in the first quarter, and the Gators narrowly claimed the third, 13-12, but the Bears outscored the Gators 19-14 and 14-9 in the second and fourth quarters to secure the win.

Tyrone Brown led Carvers Bay to victory with a game-high 24 points. Also scoring for the Bears were Rayshod Pittman, 11; Teondre Romell, 5; Da’Shaun Aiken, 5; Alton Nesbitt, 4; and Rayshad Dorsey, Leshon Morris, and Tyquiel Goff each scored two.

Jordan Miller led Lake View with a team-high 15 points. Darius Leonard added 11, and Morgan McDaniel posted another six. Chris Ford and Jamal Ford each made four points, and Michael Page, Tyrice Brunson, and Antony Buller each added two.

Carvers Bay improved their record to 8-5 overall and 2-0 in the region, while Lake View remains winless this season.
