Services for Charles “Buddy” Wilkes will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Huggins Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Wilkes, 62, died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.
Born in Dillon County, January 23, 1948, he was the son of Irene Berry Wilkes and the late Danny Mac Wilkes. He was a member of Dothan Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Irene Berry Wilkes of Dillon; sister, Maxine Wilkes of Dillon; brothers, Bobby Lee (Maxine) Wilkes of Dillon, Tommy (Emma Pate) Wilkes of Florence, and Jimmy (Sheila) Wilkes of Bennettsville; special great nieces, Kaylee, Morgan, and Layla Cook; nephews, Joey Wilkes and Roger Wilkes.
