Mr. Charles Consolvo Seddinger, Sr., died December 6, 2010 from complications following surgery at MUSC in Charleston, SC.
Mr. Seddinger, age 71, was born in Dillon, SC on March 7, 1939, the son of the late William Consolvo Seddinger and Mabel Blackwell Seddinger.
Mr. Seddinger was a graduate of St. Andrews College in Laurinburg, NC. He was a former pharmaceutical sales representative for Bristol-Myers Squibb and USB. He owned SedCo of North Myrtle Beach, was a contractor, licensed residential builder and a real estate salesman for the state of South Carolina. He was a loving father, devoted grandfather, dedicated brother and playful friend.
Surviving Mr. Seddinger are his son, Charles Seddinger, Jr. (Michelle) of Calabash, NC; daughter, D’Ann Seddinger of Myrtle Beach; two grandchildren, Bill Seddinger and Lauren Seddinger, both of Calabash and his loving companion of 30 years, Carol Brady of Little River, SC. He is also survived by his brother William Blackwell Seddinger (Nancy) of North Myrtle Beach and his sister, Lola Seddinger Nunn (Ray) of Macon, GA.
A celebration of Charlie’s life was held at 3 pm on Saturday, December 11, 2010 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel. The family received friends following the service.
