Services for Melba Jean Jordan will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Magnolia Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
Ms. Jordan, 82, died Thursday, November 25, 2010 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon after a short illness.
Born in Effingham, Illinois, October 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Clint Walker and Lizzie Comstock Walker. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Elizabeth Ruth Strobel (Jim) of Utah, Richard Cole Jones of Latta, and Jeannie J. Sweat (Billy Summerford) of Latta 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
Ms. Jordan was preceded in death by her son, Leslie Gene Gaylor of Pennsylvania
