Services for Hazel Ann Cornelius will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Oakland Holiness Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home in Dillon.
Mrs. Cornelius, 55, died Monday, November 22, 2010 at her residence after after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Scotland County, NC, May 23, 1955, she was the daughter of Charles L. Jacobs and Annie Locklear Jacobs. She was a member of Pee Dee Chapel Church.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Cornelius of Florence; daughter, Linda Michelle Simmons of Cullman, Alabama; son, Danny Eugene Watts, Jr. of Florence; brothers, Jerry John Hammonds Jacobs, Kelly Ray Jacobs, and Heritage L. Jacobs, all of Dillon; 4 grandchildren, Jonathan Aaron Hammonds, Steven Corey Hammonds, Austin Garrett Hammonds, and Ryan Damian Watts.
