Services for Marvin Steven Price were held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Price Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Price, 74, died Sunday, October 10, 2010 at his residence.
Born in Dillon County, May 25, 1936, he was the son of the late Henry Stephen Price and Ansel Walker Price. He was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church, and was retired from Image Carpet.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Clark Price of Dillon; son, Kenneth Dean (Bobbie) Price of Ehrhardt, SC; daughters, Tammy Price (Sammy) Bracey, and Wendy (Mike) Reaves, both of Hamer; grandchildren, Lauren Price, Ashley Price, Stephen Price, Chad Bracey, Robbie McGirt, Justin Reaves, Michael Reaves, and Jacqueline Reaves; great-grandchildren, Hunter McGirt, Nathan McGirt, Courtney Bracey, and C.J. Bracey; brothers, Bruce Price and Jeff Price, both of Little Rock; sisters, Dorothy Price Beaver of Hartsville, Lunette Allen of Wadesboro, and Henrietta Herman of Charleston.
Mr. Price was preceded in death by his son, Marvin Steven Price, Jr.; brothers, H. Price, Frank Price, and Allen Price; and his sisters, Bernice Johnson and Sarah Boatwright.
