Manning Earns Doctorate Of Education Degree

Miranda Elaine Manning graduated from Argosy University in Sarasota , Florida during its commencement exercises on Saturday, July 31, 2010 with a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) degree.
Miranda is in her 15th year as a school counselor in Dillon School District Two.
She is also in her 12th year as an instructor and transitional specialist with Dillon County Adult Education.
Dr. Manning holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from South Carolina State University and an Education Specialist degree from Argosy University – Sarasota .  She holds membership in American School Counselor Association (ASCA), South Carolina Counseling Association (SCCA), South Carolina School Counselor Association (SCSCA) and Pee Dee International Reading Association (PDIRA).
Dr. Manning is the 2010-2011 treasurer for SCSCA.  She is a 1982 graduate of Dillon High School , a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and a member of McCoy Chapel U. M. Church where Rev. Ronald McCall is the pastor.
Miranda is the daughter of Mary E. Manning and the late Lee Lee Cousar.
