Mr. Wade Barfield went to be with his Lord on September 6, 2010 after a battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 10, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Kemper Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Kemper Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Cook Funeral Home of Lake View. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Barfield was born in Dillon County, the son of the late Lloyd and Nora Bullock Barfield. Mr. Barfield retired from the United State Navy after 21 years of service. He was a member of Kemper Baptist Church and Woodmen of the World. Mr. Barfield is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Isabelle I. Barfield; sons, Robert Wade Barfield, Jr. (Eileen), Roger Barfield, Richard Barfield (Shashi) and Ronald Barfield; daughters, Shari Campbell (Jerry) and Connie Watts; sister, Miriam Marshall (John); 2 daughter in laws, Lisa Lupo and Yvonne Barfield; grandchildren, Danielle Daniels, M.K. Lupo, Marie Herhms, Cameron Barfield, Michael Barfield, Jessica Barfield, Trevor Campbell and Alescia Campbell; great grandchildren, Kamille, Chloe, Charlotte, Mayra, Evan, M.J., and Tony; special cousin, Doug Bullock and special friend; Kevin Ammons. Mr. Barfield was preceded in death by his son, Randy Lupo. The family would like to thank Tracie Spivey, Bonnie
