Services for Lauren Chandler Dickens will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Pyerian Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Pyerian Baptist Church.
Lauren, 10 years old, was lifted up into the arms of Jesus Friday, July 16, 2010.
Born in Florence, SC, January 18, 2000, she was the daughter of Charles Michael Dickens and Susan Branham Dickens. She was a member of Pyerian Baptist Church, a member of AWANA’s at Dillon First Baptist Church, a Girl Scout, and was an honor roll student at Dillon Christian School where she also was a cheerleader.
Survivors include her parents, Michael & Susan Dickens of Dillon; sister, Reagan Olivia Dickens of Dillon; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Janet Luce Keaton & John Ralph Keaton of Lexington; paternal grandmother, Nancy Miller Dickens of Fairmont, NC; paternal great-grandmother, Evelyn Miller of Lake View.
Lauren was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Lewis Alexander Branham; and her paternal grandfather, F.L. “Dickie” Dickens, III.
