Mr. Bill McKenzie, 81, died Thursday, July 15, 2010 at home after an extended illness.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lake View. Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery directed by Cook Funeral Home of Lake View. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. McKenzie was born July 24, 1928 in Dillon County, the son of the late Brunson and Addie Carter McKenzie.
Mr. McKenzie is survived by his wife, Kathleen McKenzie of the home; daughters, Karen (Dean) Lee of Hartsville, SC and Denise Watts of Dillon, SC; stepdaughters, Beverly Reaney and Donna (Bobby) Volt of Bakersfield, CA; stepson, Carl Ray (Vicky) Gardner of Tampa, FL; brothers, Gene (Peggy) McKenzie of Mullins, SC, Richard McKenzie of Dillon, SC; sisters, Dot (Hagood) Watson and Janie McKenzie of Dillon, SC.
