E.P. “Bee” Sweat, 90, died Thursday, July 8, 2010, at the Pines Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held 2:00 P.M. Sunday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation was 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, February 8, 1920, he was the son of the late Elisha Sweat and Molly Scott Sweat. He was a retired tree surgeon.
Survivors include his daughters, Gloria J.Newman (Frank) of Timmonsville and Eva Lorriane Carter (Gifford) of Floyd Dale; son, Elisha Caulder of Floyd Dale; brother, Frank Sweat of Oak Grove; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
