Services for Elizabeth Lane Stone will be held Tuesday at 10 A.M. in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation was 7-9 Monday in the funeral home.
Mrs. Stone, 71, died Friday in the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, August 11, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Lane and Danie Taylor Lane. She was a RN for more than 30 years with Grand Strand and Ocean View Hospitals.
Survivors include her husband, Harry G. Stone of Latta; daughter, Dena Wright of Myrtle Beach; son, Fred E. Vereen III of Greer; sisters, Annie Belle Bailey, Isabelle Lewellen, and Ernestine Barrentine of Dillon, Mabel Lee of Latta, Shirley Lee of Florence, Pamela Nellis of Florence, and Joyce Hutchinson of Cheraw; step daughter, Paula Stone of Salem, Virginia; grandchildren, Caroline Elizabeth Vereen, Robert Ellis Vereen, Matthew Turner Vereen, Aaron Philip Cox, Sarah Pearl Cox, and Andrew Graham Cox.
