Services for Wallace Bearry Pittman, Sr. will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Mr. Pittman, 73, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at his residence.
Born in Robeson County, NC, March 19, 1938, he was the son of the late James Weaver Pittman and Charity Rebecca Stephens Pittman. He was a retired Carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Pittman of Dillon; daughters, Tina Pittman of Dillon and Deborah Isidro of Connecticut; sons, Joseph Pittman, James Pittman, Kenneth Pittman, and Joshua Pittman, all of Dillon, and Wallace Pittman, II of Latta; brother, James Weaver Pittman of Fairmont, NC; step-brother, Gary Edwards (Addie Lee) of Fairmont, NC; sister-in-law, Evelyn Edwards of Fairmont; step-sister, Loriee Cook; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
