Services for Thomas Alvin Carter will be held Wednesday at 3:00 P.M. in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is 7-9 Tuesday in the funeral home.
Mr. Carter, 54, died Sunday in the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Dillon County January 14, 1957, he was the son of Anna Hayes and the late Roy F. Carter, Sr. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his son, Thomas Brooks (Jessica) Carter of Dillon; mother, Anna Hayes of Little Rock; brother, Ben (Joyce) Carter of Little Rock; grandson, Jordan Carter.
