Nearly 75 Indictments Moved At General Sessions Court

Circuit Judge Roger Henderson presided over a term of general sessions court in the new Dillon County Judicial Center last week where nearly 75 indictments were moved, keeping Dillon County with the lowest docket numbers in the Fourth Judicial Circuit (comprised of Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon and Marlboro counties).
Among those pleading guilty last week are Eric Dickerson (drugs), Sheena King (drugs), Thomas Lewis (insurance fraud), Jason Eiges (drugs), Kayla Lewis (weapons), Dickie Lewis (drugs), Jonathan Lewis (drugs), William Clark (larceny), Zaquan McKinnon (drugs), Brandon Townsend (drugs), Taquan Manning (weapons), Christopher Carter (failure to stop for blue light), Takeema McCall (domestic violence), Bryan Goodyear (drugs), Christopher Tyler (resisting arrest), Jeremy Buie (domestic violence), Antwyon Bethea (burglary), Robert Scott (burglary/domestic violence), Frederick Williams (assault and battery), Greg Covington (burglary), Ahmad Rogers (weapons), Andrew Johnson (purse snatching), Jared Faulk (weapons), Stevvon Lewis (burglary) and Christopher Rouse (domestic violence).
When discussing scheduling with Judge Henderson in the courtroom, Assistant Solicitor Shipp Daniel said he is in the process of preparing several trials for the upcoming court terms, including Jimmy Watson (charged with murder) and Rudolph Wall (charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor).  The specific dates of those trials have not been announced.
