The Lady Wild Gators defeated Creek Bridge 43-39 on Friday in Marion to improve to 3-5 in Region 8A girls basketball.
The Lady Gators were led by Jasmine Ford with 15 points and Olivia McDaniel with 14, and Kayla Sanderson added 11 points for Lake View. Junetta Strickland scored two points, and Chelsea Williams earned one in the win.
Lake View improves to 4-12 overall and 3-5 in the region.
Tonight, the Lady Gators will travel to take on Green Sea-Floyds. Lake View won their first meeting this season 60-29.
