A hearing before the Dillon County Election Commission regarding allegations that Dillon County District Six Councilman does not live in his district was postponed on Tuesday morning due to lack of a quorum.
Chairman Melissa Thompson, who said she plans to recuse herself at further hearings due to the fact that she is a county employee who answers to the county administrator who answers to council, said the plan is to schedule a hearing in the next 10 days. Notice will be given 48 hours in advance.
Both Andrew Graves, former District Six councilman who is making the allegation, and his attorney, Malloy McEachin, and Robbie Coward, current District Six councilman, and his attorney, A. LaFon LeGette, Jr., were present for the hearing, which did not take place.
