The smell of cookies baking in the oven or delicious sauces simmering on the stovetop is hard to resist for kids but too many are suffering from burns and scalds that could be prevented.

For people who don’t know where Gaddy’s Mill is it’s about halfway between Dillon and Lake View off of Road 30. It’s mostly a farming community made up of farmers you probably know: the Rogers, Arnettes, McKenzies and Gaddys to name a few.
