On Saturday, February 18, 2017, the Grades 6-8 Lake View High School Academic Challenge Team, won top honors in the Pee Dee Regional Academic Challenge Tournament held on the campus of Francis Marion University, qualifying them for the state tournament to be held in Camden on March 16, 2017.
Latta Middle School recently held their first “Muffins for Mom” event on February 9th and 10th.
Dillon School District Four began getting ready for online testing several years ago by providing keyboarding software to all students from Pre-K – grade 12 and began upgrading the infrastructure and computers as funds allowed.

Dr. Daniel Blue retired from Dillon County First Steps on January 30th.
