DHSF To Meet September 2nd

The regular monthly meeting of DHSF (Dillon Historic School Foundation) will be Tuesday, September 2, at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Chamber of Commerce Building.

Name Change for Local Historic School Advocacy Group

  The Dillon Historic School Foundation held their August meeting at the Dillon County Chamber of Commerce Conference Room with nine members present. Chairman Gerald Berry welcomed two new members to the organization and made several announcements.

Garden Clubbers Attend The Fair

“The FAIR” is an event sponsored by The Garden Club of South Carolina, Inc. each year for Club Presidents and members to meet and greet GCSC Officers, Committee Chairmen and see their displays, District Directors, and other garden club members from across the State.

DHSA Has More Questions Than Answers About JVM Auditorium

The Dillon Historic School Advocacy (DHSA) seems to have more questions than they feel they have answers in regards to the closure of the J.V. Martin auditorium and a recent visit to the Dillon County Board of Education meeting and a written response they received.
