Rev. Doris B. Smith, Pastor of St. Mark Baptist Church in Bennettsville, SC, was recently elected as Moderator of the Berea Association of Marlboro and Dillon Counties, in South Carolina and Robeson County, in North Carolina, making her the first female to lead the association in its 135-year history.
Matthew 11:12 states “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”
I want us to consider a few questions. The first question is: what would it take for you to be what the Lord told you to be? The next question is: Do you believe the Lord has given you what it takes to do whatever He wants you to do? Lastly, do you really believe that you will always have the victory throughout you fulfilling God’s purpose?
The Bibleway Tabernacle Church Ministries Outreach Ministry Team invites the community to join them for a hot and delicious Thanksgiving meal on November 21 at 4:00 p.m. at their church located at 314 Beaufort Street, Dillon.
The Manning Baptist Food Ministry, an outreach mission’s project of Manning Baptist Church, Dillon, distributes food boxes on the third Tuesday of each month, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

A Faith and Blue event was held on Saturday, October 8th at Pyerian Baptist Church in Floyd Dale from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Approximately 150 people attended.
“Heart Healthy Soup for the Soul in the Community” (The Angel Love Project) will meet at Manning Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Dillon, S. C. 29536, on November 16, 2022 (12 noon-1 p.m.).
Unity in the Community has completed for this year on Sunday, September 25, with Rev. Steven Tyler of Sardis Baptist Church conducting services at Pyerian Baptist Church.
