Betty L. Coward, 80, died Saturday, May 28, 2011, at her residence after an illness.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Tuesday in Dillon Church of God with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, June 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Gary Caulder and Pearl Pulley Caulder. She was a member of the Dillon Church of God, and was retired from Kenwins.
Survivors include her husband, W.J. Coward of Dillon; daughter, Sylvia Ann (Billy) Lane of Dillon; son, Jerry W. (Angela) Coward of Dillon; sister, Elizabeth Driggers of Latta; brothers, Frank Caulder and Ansel Caulder both Marion; 6 grandchildren, Jimmy Clark, Vickie Rogers, Mitchell Lane, Jason Coward, Justin Coward, and Jordan Coward; 2 great-grandchildren, Amber Rogers and Morgan Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Billy Caulder and Ray Caulder.
