‘Prayer In The Park’ Held

PRAYER IN THE PARK was held at Gordon Park in Dillon on Wednesday, June 8th. A total of 268 people came out and showed their support for their community.

Boat Ramp Closed At Kentyre Road Until August 31

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) received permission from the S.C. Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) to close the boat ramp off Kentyre Road at US 301 due to safety concerns during bridge construction in the area.

Jobless Rate Falls In County And State

The number of South Carolinians working continued its climb to a new record level in May, which helped push the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate down to 5.6 percent in May from 5.8 percent in April. The number of people employed increased by 2,988 to 2,184,782.
