“The FAIR” is an event sponsored by The Garden Club of South Carolina, Inc. each year for Club Presidents and members to meet and greet GCSC Officers, Committee Chairmen and see their displays, District Directors, and other garden club members from across the State.

On May 20, 2014, Dillon Historic School Advocacy (DHSA) met with the Dillon County Board of Education to ask specific questions about this Board’s barring all access to the auditorium of former J.V. Martin Junior High School.

I received a phone message on Sunday evening (July 13th) about a previously unnamed road to be named in honor of Mrs. Ruby Woods Carter on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.  I naturally became very interested and concerned about its location and strategic importance.
