Mrs. Rheba Church, 86, died Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Senior Care of Marion.
A funeral service will be Tuesday, December 31 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Lake View. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm at the church, prior to the funeral service.
Mrs. Church was born in Dillon County, the daughter of the late William E. and Noney Hayes Church. She attended Lake View Schools and graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1956. She became a teacher, taught for 33 years in North Carolina, with most of these years spent as a 3rd grade teacher at Rosenwald Elementary School in Fairmont. She was also long time member of First Baptist Church of Lake View, where she taught Sunday School and served in many other capacities.
She is survived by her Brother, Grady Church (Brenda); sister in law, Clell Church; and many nieces and nephews.
