Corporal Harold “Buck” Pearce, a recently identified Korean War soldier, came home to Dillon County, SC, to Cooper Funeral Home Tuesday, September 24. Corporal Harold “Buck” Pearce was killed in action near Taejon, Republic of Korea (South Korea) on July 20, 1950. He came home to Dillon County, SC, to Cooper Funeral Home Tuesday, September 24. He was escorted from the Myrtle Beach International Airport to Dillon. His funeral is scheduled for Thursday.
