McCoy Chapel Holds Women’s Day Program

McCoy Chapel United Methodist Women at McCoy Chapel UMC, Little Rock held its Women’s Day program on July 21, 2019 during morning worship service. The guest speaker was Sister Mary B. Mack. Sister Mack’s message was focused on Ephesians 4:29, 31-32 titled “Sister to Sister”. She talked about the works of Eve, Miriam and Hannah. Sister Mack is the wife of Renzalo “Bo” Mack and they have one son, Brock. Mary has been an employee with Dillon School District Four for 29 years. She is serving in various capacities and fulfilling several leadership roles at McCoy Chapel UM Church. (Contributed Photo)

Kahlil, a freshman student at South Carolina University was the recipient of an academic scholarship. Kahlil is the son of Latoni Bethea and Kevin Dunahm. He wrote an essay about women that has been an influence in his life. Kahlil wrote about his mother, Latoni Bethea. The McCoy Chapel Unit of United MethodistWomen are proud of Kahil. Kahlil is pictured with his grandmother LaMecisa Bethea. Dr. Miranda E. Page is president and Rev. Ronald McCall is the pastor.
