Sadie Emanuel Jackson, 92, of Dillon, SC went home to her Lord and loving husband Tracy on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Raines, SC on September 15, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James G. Emanuel and Nancy Jane Emanuel. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She shared her love to her family and friends through her love of cooking. She was a “green thumb” gardner and loved making quilts for the children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rebecca Fowler; brothers, James, Alton, Marzo, Prince, Elgie, and Maxie Emanuel; sisters, Rethea Ray, Janie Smith, and Zylphia Summerford.
Survivors include her children, Jimmy (Marlene) Jackson of Cheraw, Larry (Gay) Jackson, Joyce (Derrell) Chandler, Danny Jackson, William Jackson, all of Florence, Diane (Wilbur) Fowler of Conway; seven grandchildren, Amy (Chris) Collins, Jamie & Donny of Florence, Benji (Melissa) Chandler of Effingham, Jonathan Fowler of Conway, James Tracy (Tracy) Jackson of Vista, CA, Rachel Jackson of Cheraw; 8 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Karrer of Steadman, NC.
