Warriors Get 12-1 Win Over King’s Academy

The Dillon Christian School Warriors picked up 12-1 win over the visiting King’s Academy in the ten-run rule, 5-inning game played in Dillon on Friday, March 29.
Dillon’s Daniel Camp struck out 13 while allowing 3 hits, a run that was not earned, and walked 2 to claim the win.
Jake Brown was charged with the loss. He pitched 3 1/3 innings and allowed 3 hits, 5 runs that were earned, walked 3, and struck out 1.
The King’s Academy scored first in the game by placing their lone run on the scoreboard in the top of the third inning. The Dillon Christian School Warriors responded by placing 7 runs on the scoreboard in the top of the fourth inning and adding 5 runs in the top of the fifth inning.
Caleb Lutz led The King’s Academy with a triple and a rbi in his 2 at-bats.
Collin Hamilton connected for a double and 3 rbi in his 4 at-bats for Dillon.
Each team committed an error in the game.
The Dillon Christian School Warriors will host Thomas Sumter at 5:00 p.m. today (Tuesday, April 2).
