A Florida man was killed in a wreck that occurred at approximately 3:05 p.m. on Thursday on S.C. Highway 38 and I-95.
Coroner Donnie Grimsley identified the man as Curtis Watkins, 81, of Florida.
According to the S.C. Highway Patrol, a 2006 Volvo tractor-trailer was traveling eastbound on S.C. Highway 38. A 2005 Ford Ecplorer was exiting I-95 when the tractor-trailer and Explorer collided. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
