Edward “Ed” Albert Turner

Mr. Edward “Ed” Albert Turner, 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Brightsville, SC, on May 2, 1947, he was the son of the late Marvin Turner and Daisy Hardin Turner. He was formerly employed with Parker’s Used Cars in Blenheim, and most recently worked for Industrial Maintenance Company in Latta.
Ed was a former member of the Lower Pee Dee Hunting Club and was an avid outdoors man who loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed teaching young people the importance of safety while hunting. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who had a contagious smile and loved to joke.
A Service to Celebrate Ed’s Life will be held 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Cooper Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Johnny Corbett. Visitation will be held from 2-4 P.M. just prior to the service at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Turner of Latta; daughters, Debra (Frank) Price of Raleigh, NC, Donna (Ricardo) Pagan of Jacksonville, NC, Nancy (Jim) Schmidt of Belleville, IL and Kim Turner of Florence; sons, Steve Turner of Lynchburg, SC and Rodney (Evelyn) Turner of Hartsville; sisters, Phyllis Johnson of Oklahoma, Alice Hyatt of Lake View and Brandy Turner of North Carolina; 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Ed was preceded in death by his parents listed above; and by sons, Scott Christopher Turner and Henry C, Krieger.

Memorial are suggested to: Dothan Baptist Church or to Agape Hospice.
