The Latta Vikings knotched another win, 11-1, over the Loris Lions in Loris on Tuesday, February 26, in a non-league game.
The Vikings got on the scoreboard with a run in the first inning and added 6 runs in the third, 2 runs in the fifth, and 2 runs in the sixth and held the Loris Lions to only 1 run in the sixth to close out the win with a 10-run rule.
Latta managed 11 hits and held Loris to 7 hits.
Noah Henderson pitched 5 innings for the Vikings and struck out 10 while T. Kennedy pitched 3 innings for Loris and struck out 6. G. Smith pitched 2 innings for Loris and struck out 4.
Latta’s Dylan Brewer, Chase Mishue, and Nate Lee each had 2 hits in the game. Deonte Stanley picked up 3 rbis while Chase Mishue, and Russ Rogers each garnered 2 rbis.
