The Dillon Christian School Warriors fell to the visiting Christian Academy Saints 70-46 in varsity basketball action played Tuesday, January 8.
The Warriors found themselves down 17-6 after the first period of play. By halftime, the Saints were up by 15 points, 33-18.
Dillon Christian School’s Ty Dubose led in the scoring department with 11 points followed by Phillip Campbell with 10 points. Ian Bethea had 8 points and Jason Chen had 7 points. Jacob Dubose was perfect at the charity line with 4 points on 4 attempts. Connor Collins, Az Brown, and Walt Bailey each had 2 points for the Warriors.
The Christian Academy Saints were led in scoring by Michael Michael Green with 25 points followed by Davis Guyton with 13 points. Lawton Fulford and Jalen Busby each had 9 points. J. McLintock, B. McCauley, and R. Brooks each had 4 points. Jacob Kruser also had 2 points.
Dillon Christian School will host Pee Dee Academy on Friday, January 11.
